Ball Field Reservation Policy 2023

All planned team or individual activities must schedule with the Park District.

Tournaments and Games

All reservations made must be accompanied by a Certificate of Insurability with the Kingsbury Park District listed as "Additional Insured."

RESERVATION FEES:

Base fee:  $15 per game (3-hour block). With a maximum of $105 per day. 

Add $65 per instance if field preparation is needed for Monday - Friday games.

Add $10 per reservation if lights are to be used.

• Payment is required at the time the reservation is made.
• If reserving a field for a tournament, reserving the Jaycee shelter will also be required.
• Field preparation is not offered on Saturday or Sundays.
• A full refund will be issued in the event that the Kingsbury Park District declares a ball field unusable due to inclement weather, as long as it is prior to field preparations being made. 
• Spring Field reservations will be at the discretion of the Park District.  In the best interest of maintaining the fields for the public and public use, scheduled practices are not guaranteed.  If the Kingsbury Park District deems the fields unplayable reservation fees will be fully refunded. 
• Once the Kingsbury Park District prepares a field for a reservation, no refund will be issued – even in the case of rain at a later time in the day.
• Field preparation or lighting fees will be refunded if the Kingsbury Park District is notified of the change at least two business days prior to the date of the reservation.  The base fee is nonrefundable.  Business days are Monday through Friday. 
• No refunds will be issued for any reasons other than those cited above.
• No field preparation equipment is to be brought onto Kingsbury Park District fields by someone other than Park District personnel, with the exception of hand rakes.
• Any request to close the gates on Dewey Street is subject to permission from the Park District.  A key will be issued to the requestor for the gate locks, and a $25.00 deposit is required.  This deposit will be fully refunded when the key is returned.  The gate lock key must be returned on the next business day after the event.  If not, the deposit will be forfeited.  The requestor assumes responsibility for closing and properly securing the gates before the event and opening and properly securing them afterward. 
• Failure to disclose the accurate number of games to be played will result in the team being banned from future field rental i.e.  saying 1 game will be played but playing 2 in the time reserved.

Practice and Private Lessons

• All practices and private lessons must be scheduled with the park district. 
• Fee will be $15 this will reserve a two-hour block
• Add $10 per hour for lights.
• No field preparation equipment is to be brought onto Kingsbury Park District fields by someone other than Park District personnel, with the exception of hand rakes.
• There will be no field preparation for practices.
• The reservation fee is nonrefundable unless the Kingsbury Park District declares the ball field unusable due to inclement weather.
