Kingsbury Park District

Ball Field Tournament & Game Policy 2026

All planned team or individual activities must be scheduled with the Park District.

Tournaments and Games

• All reservations must include a Certificate of Insurability listing the Kingsbury Park District as "Additional Insured."
• Reservation Fees:
• Base fee: $15 per game (3-hour block).
• Add $10 per reservation if lights are required.
• Payment is required within 7 days of the completion of your event.

Additional Requirements:

• Tournaments: Reservation of the Jaycee shelter is mandatory.
• Saturday or Sunday Games: Reservation of the Jaycee shelter is also required.

Field Preparation:

• The Park District does not provide field preparation services.
• No field preparation equipment, other than hand rakes, may be brought onto the fields by anyone other than Park District personnel.

Refund Policy:

• A full refund will be issued if the Kingsbury Park District declares a field unusable due to inclement weather.
• Lighting fees will be refunded if the Park District is notified at least two business days before the reservation date. The base fee is nonrefundable.
• No refunds will be issued for any other reason.

Gate Closure on Dewey Street:

• Gate closure requests must be approved by the Park District.
• A $25 deposit is required for the gate lock key. The deposit will be refunded upon return of the key on the next business day following the event unless other arrangements are made. Failure to return the key on time will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
• The requester is responsible for properly securing the gates before and after the event.

• The tournament and game organizers requesting gate closure must notify the Greenville Police Department in advance.

Important Notice:
Failure to accurately report the number of games scheduled (e.g., claiming one game but playing two) will result in the team being banned from future field rentals.

Practice and Private Lessons

• All practices and private lessons must be scheduled with the Park District.

• $15 for a two-hour block.
• Add $5 per hour if lights are required.
• Payment is required at the time of reservation.

• The Park District does not provide field preparation services.
