  2. All range users are required to register with the Kingsbury Park District annually (registration is good Jan 1 to December 31).  The registration process can be found on the Kingsbury Park District website at kingsburyparkdistrict.com under the Facilities pull-down menu.  You may be asked to provide proof that you are registered.  Failure to register will result in loss of range privileges.
  3. Only Target /Field Points are allowed. No fixed/mechanical or hunting style broad-heads allowed!
  4. NEVER point a bow and arrow at another person.
  5. NEVER shoot an arrow straight up into the air.
  6. NEVER shoot an arrow at any target unless shooting from the authorized position provided (concrete shooting pad). Only 1 shooter is allowed on the concrete pad at a time.
  7. Only retrieve arrows after all bows have been made safe and all shooters agree to retrieve arrows. Be respectful of other shooters no more than six (6) arrows/bolts will be shot before retrieval.
  8. Arrows should only be nocked on the shooting line and pointed in the direction of the targets. NEVER knock an arrow when someone is down range.
  9. Only straight in-lane shooting is permitted. No crossing shots, roving, or clout (Clout is a form of archery in which archers shoot arrows at a flag from a relatively long distance and score points depending on how close each arrow lands to the flag).
  10. All shooting will be from the marked firing line only and at designated targets only.
  11. If you are looking for a lost arrow behind a target, always leave your bow leaning against the target's face so that it will be seen by other archers coming up. If possible, have one archer from your group stand in front of the target to prevent anyone from shooting.
  12. At practice ranges, the only safe place is behind the shooting line. Never shoot an arrow until you are positive that no one is in front of you or behind the targets.  Conversely, don't stand in front of a bow while it is being shot, even if you are to one side of the shooter.
